Professor S.N. Bose Birth Centenary Award
The Council of the Calcutta Mathematical Society has decided to a organize a seminar to motivate and stimulate, The students of Secondary and Higher Secondary to create greater interest in Higher Mathematics by competition followed by Awards and Participation Certificate. Professor S.N. Bose Birth Centenary Award for talented students will be on the basis of his/her performance in the seminar during 7th September, 2011 at the premises of the Calcutta Mathematical Society . |

Young Scientist Award in Mathematics (Pure & Applied)
The Calcutta Mathematical Society has been awarding Young Scientist Award in Mathematics (Pure & Applied) since 1992. Young Mathematicians below the age 32 on 1st September 2011 can compete for this award. Interested Young Mathematicians are requested to submit to the Society two copies of their papers within 23rd August, 2011. A paper with two or more authors will not be considered. The papers will have to be presented before a panel of judges on September 7, 2011. While sending the paper the young mathematicians must enclose copies of their certificates and mark-sheets in support of his/her age and qualifications. |
